JOB TITLE: Audit Senior

DIVISION: Audit & Risk Advisory

LOCATION: Windhoek

POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent of the position will report to the audit manager, and will be responsible for spearheading the Audits in line with the laid-out auditing standards, company policies and procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s):

(The KPI’s include but are not limited to)

• Assist with the planning, budgeting and setting timelines for upcoming audits;
• Brief the Audit Team on their responsibilities and expectations and  monitor their progress
• Maintain a control schedule for deadlines, bills and deliverables and make changes if need be
• Keep the manager and all relevant stakeholders up-to-date with all issues and proposed action plans
• Ensure the audit process is in line with standards by reviewing the work papers of the audit clerks
• Perform any related task as and when required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Be in possession of a B.Comm Accounting Degree (CA Stream) or equivalent is a requirement
• Attempted CTA or equivalent is a requirement, having obtained CTA or equivalent will be a definite advantage
• The use of Caseware for audit purposes will be an added advantage
• Articles must be signed off
